# How long does it take to receive money?

Once you finish claiming a payment, the money is sent to your bank account, this usually happens **within minutes**.

## What affects timing

- **Your bank or card issuer.** When the funds actually become available in your account depends on your financial institution.
- **The card you use.** Eligible debit cards generally receive funds quickly. Apple Pay and Google Pay backed by an eligible debit card work the same way.

## If it's taking longer than expected

- Check for a confirmation that the transfer was completed after you finished claiming.
- Give it a little time, since final availability can depend on your bank.
